                 AR-15 CARBINE RIFLE CLASS SERIES

    
This class is for owners and shooters of AR-15, M-16, and M-4 rifles.  The class is divided into 3 sessions beginning with the basics of the AR-15 rifle, then into how to set yourself to use the AR-15 accurately, and then how to adjust your sights for varied distances and conditions to hit precisely. Class materials have been developed from US Military Tech. manuals and Field Training manuals, along with rifle manufacturer's manuals.

ession 1:     6 hours.    Session fee: $50.00                   

AR-15 parts & functions, loading and unloading, Proper disassembly, cleaning, maintenance and re-assembly, and shooting consistent groups.
 
Equipment needed: Rifle, cleaning kit, 40 rounds ammo, eye and ear protection.


                  
Session 2:       4 hours.   Session fee: $50.00      

Review Session 1, Clearing malfunctions while shooting, zeroing the sights to a known distance, learning to shoot from standing and sitting supported positions, and adjusting the sights for varied distances to hit precisely.

Equipment needed: Rifle, sight adjustment tool, 100 rounds ammo, eye and ear protection.  


                
Session 3:       4 hours.     Session fee: $50.00  

Review of 1 & 2, Learning to shoot from standing, kneeling and prone un-supported positions, adjusting your sights for elevation for precision shots, adjusting your sights for windage for precision shots, and a discussion of quality tactical accessories for your rifle.

Equipment needed: Rifle, 100 rounds ammo, eye and ear protection.

Rental rifles may be available on a limited basis.

Class will be held in our classroom training facility behind the Smokeshop Liquor Store just south of Lone Oak, KY at Hwy 45 and Hwy 1241 N, follow the signs in the parking lot to our entrance.
