This is the required class you need to be able to apply for your KY CCDW Permit. This class is held at least once every month, sometimes all on one day like a Saturday, and sometimes in 2 half day sessions in the evenings to accommodate different people’s schedules.
This class is required by the state to be a minimum of 8 hours of mostly classroom material with a small segment of actual shooting instruction on the range. The class covers the basics of legally carrying a handgun concealed in the State of Kentucky, as well as the basics of owning, caring for and shooting a handgun.

Class cost is $75.00.

Class equipment needed for class day will include a handgun (.22 caliber or larger), 50 rounds of FACTORY ammunition, a firearm cleaning kit with supplies, eye & ear protection, and a picture id. We use an outdoor range, so be sure and have needed clothes to be outdoors in any weather.
Rental handguns are available for a $10.00 fee and will include the necessary ammo. These are available on a first come basis, so make arrangements when you contact us to register for the class.
